Loki needs a best friend SO BAD. He is disconsolate when not in site of others. It's kinda sweet, but will hopefully pass with some time as he builds up trust and realizes that leaving doesn't equal never coming back. It saddens me to know that, over the coming month that I can host him, he will be forming this bond with me--only to have it broken. I hope more than anything we find him a devoted bestie who will appreciate his loyalty.
He really enjoyed playing with the neighbor's dogs today. He would bound and run in circles, trying to incite a race; but the neighbor's collie just herded him and a smaller mutt in a hilarious, aimless promenade around the yard.
